Bringing Art to the Northwoods

The Gallery at Firemouth Pottery features the pottery of owner Bill Karaffa as well as that of several other artists and craftspeople. Many of these artists were fellow students with Bill at either  Luther College or Northern Illinios University.

Tumbler/Pitcher set- high fired stoneware, pitcher 10.5 inches in height.

 

Carved Pine Vase- high fired stoneware, 9 inches in height.

Blue Vase- high fired stoneware, 14.5 inches in height.

Wine Cooler/Kitchen Utensil Vase, high fired stoneware, 8 inches in height and 9.5 inches diameter.

Oil Lamp- high fired stoneware, 16 inches in height.

Square Vase- high fired stoneware, 10 inches in height.

Weed Vase- high fired stoneware, 11 inches in height.

Bud Vase- high fired stoneware, 9 inches in height.

Butter Tray- high fired stoneware, 10.5 inches in length.

Carved Landscape Vase- high fired stoneware, 28.5 inches in height.

Hexagonal Jar- high fired stoneware, 36 inches in height.

Textured Vase- high fired stoneware, 27.5 inches in height.

Current Artists

In addition to showing Bill's pottery, Firemouth also has a selection of pottery by Robert Blue and his wife Susan Blue Galloway, Raku pottery by Ed Risak, hand-blown glass by Douglas Becker, copperplate etchings and oil paintings by Larry Welo, block prints, etchings and oil paintings by Mary Barnes-Gingrich and hand made baskets by Martha Monson Lowe.
